Project Objective

The main objective of the project is to embed the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the day-to-day business of NGO’s. For doing that the project will implement a pilot action to the WARL by preparing their CSR strategy and by doing all the necessary work and preparations to WARL in order to be certified with the ISO 26000. ISO 26000 is an International standard that has been recently launched and provides guidance to organizations of how to act in a socially responsible way. This means acting in an ethical and transparent way that contributes to the health and welfare of society.

Moreover, the project aims to produce a framework model for other NGO’s that want to follow the example of WARL, to act in a socially responsible way, and therefore strengthen, among others, their capacity, governance and transparency and be sustainable in the long run.
